The Great Buddha statue is one of the most famous religious places in Bodh Gaya, Bihar. There is a huge statue of the great Mahatma Gautama Buddha. The magnificent statue is about 25 meters high, resembling Lord Gautam Buddha in meditation popularly known as the mudra asana on top of a blooming flower named lotus. It is fully carved from red granite marble and sandstones. This massive statue is believed to be one of the tallest and also the first Lord Buddha statue installed in the country.
